The Power of a Praying Wife
This Women's Small Group meets Thursdays, 7:15-8:45pm
March 14th through April 25th, 2013.
The question was recently asked among the women of CrossCurrent: "What are some of the greatest life lessons or most impactful Truth from God's Word that has helped you to love your husband better and deepen intimacy in your marriage?"
Many of the answers encompassed the following: forgive quickly, allow the Holy Spirit to work, seek wisdom, pray, humble yourself to hear, honor and cherish your husband, look for ways to help and encourage him to be the man God created him to be, act out love, and depend upon God.
These are exactly the life lessons we will be pursuing as we study God's word in The Power of a Praying Wife small group.

Michael's Marauders
Meets the Second Saturday of the month from 12:00-2:00pm.
Michael-an archangel in Jewish and Christian religions; viewed as the field commander of the Army of God.
Marauders-someone who moves about in roving fasion looking for plunder; a band of outlaws who raid and pillage.
Michael's Marauders is a bunch of vagabond misfit outlaws, who, having given JESUS CHRIST, the LORD of Hosts, cart blanche up to and including their lives...are all about Being in HIS SERVICE "Plundering the gates of hell to fee the captives"...in a "roving" kind of fasion.
This outreach small group is called "Michael's Marauders" and will be "Actively seeking out the Lost and Freeing the Captive." It's focus is building the capacity of the members to share Jesus in a competent and honest manner, and take it to the streets. The only prerequisites are having a passion for the lost and those that live their lives on the margins, the determination to go the extra mile, and, most of all, Trusting the LORD when things get messy.
Led by Scott Oberlender.
