02.17.2008 - 03.02.2008 : Ending Religion
Many people are skeptical and uncomfortable with the idea of organized religion. Yet, at the same time, so many others draw so much
life from being a part of a real church—which is, in reality, an organized religious group. Where do such different views of religion
come from? Is there anything that those of us inside the organized church need to confront to change the perceptions or realities skeptics
face? Is there anything inside the church that skeptics should see for themselves is actually different from their preconceived ideas?
Join us as we take an honest and provocative look at the imperfect church, and call us all to be real, to be safe…and as a result, to be
changed!

02.03.2008 : The Adventure of Being Missional
Life lived according to the fullest design of our lives is life lived at maximum. Abundant worth, dynamic clarity, vast enjoyment,
and thick satisfaction is the result when we live with a purpose—a mission—for life. The Bible tells us explicitly what the adventure
God has called us to is: being engaged in the mission of helping other people find God, find their life’s meaning, and finding
the fullness of their own life. Join us as we explore concrete and specific examples of what we can each do to know our unique mission,
and to begin to live it out!

01.27.2008 : A Call to Change History, Presented by Special Guest Speaker John Norsworthy
Re-born for glory? Life as a born again Christian is very confusing for many of us. So often we summarize it down to two things. We won't
go to hell, and we are able to be nicer to others. As individuals and as a body of believers, we have forgotten that each of us were chosen
to change history. There is an amazing, passionate, and abundant purpose for each of us. Yet, we walk by it nearly every day, rubbing shoulders
with the glory we have yet to know. Is it really true that everyone who becomes a Christian can actually change history? Yes, yes, yes!

12.09.2007 - 12.16.2007 : Don't Give Lousy Gifts
Christmas brings us to the mindset of giving—presents, shopping, Santa for the kids—all the joys of family being together to give to
one another gifts given in love. But what if we discovered we left out the most important person on our Christmas gift list? Or how would
we feel if we found we’d given him a gift that was really…well, lousy? As we step up to be givers in this beautiful season, join us to explore
what we’re giving to the person for whom the season is named. In this two-part series, we’ll look at the gifts we give back to Christ and see
if they are…well, lousy…or wondrous!

12.02.2007 : Today
How much time and energy do we spend wishing things were how they used to be? We often think about times in our past when things were different
and want our lives to be like that again. Some of us have even come to believe that our best days may actually be behind us. But if we’re in
some way hung up on the past, what does that mean for our lives now? How are we and those around us affected if we’re not fully present?
If we’re longing for the way things used to be, what does that really say about our understanding and appreciation of our lives today?
Maybe we need to learn to embrace our past for what it is, in order to live our lives to the fullest, right here, right now.

10.14.2007 - 11.18.2007 : Can I Be a Christian and Still Have a Brain?
Has it ever seemed hard for you to reconcile the things you learned in school about science, the politics you hold, and the claims of evangelical, Bible believing, born again Christians? Can the claims of the Bible really
be true-and can the claims of science be true as well? Is it really necessary for me to suspend my intellect, my knowledge of the real world around me to buy into who Jesus was? Do I have to become a right-wing fundamentalist
to be a Biblical Christian? Join us as we take a hard-hitting look into some very real questions that plague as all as we try to make sense of the Bible in a very modern, educated world!

09.09.2007 - 10.07.2007 : Man Under
Perhaps one of the most difficult things for people of our generation to assume is a life and
mindset of submission. Just the word “submit” brings a chill up our spine, as we envision a slavish
commitment to some dictatorial and power-abusing figure of authority. Whether it’s the abuse we’ve
observed from an alcoholic father ruling his home with an inconsistent and out of control temper, or
the abuse of power by corrupted politicians, we’ve got a trembling fear of placing ourselves under
the authority of someone else. Even the church got into our minds as an institution to deeply
distrust, as we watched domineering leaders fall to hypocrisy, or sexually confused priests
destroy the lives of innocent children.
So we’re afraid to submit. Yet that word finds its way into every relationship in the
Bible—from submission to your spouse, to your employer, to government, to church leaders…and
even submission to God. As a people afraid of submission, we are called to it in unbelievable
terms. Join us for this uncomfortable look into our own rebellious hearts, and learn how God
really wants us to bend our knees in humility towards Him and others. You will be changed.

09.02.2007 : Under Construction, Presented by Guest Speaker Scott Oberlander
In this message we explore a view of God's plan for us and how we are all under construction
or works in progress. Using the backdrop of Nehemiah we explore a slightly different perspective
of the rebuilding of Jerusalem , and how it may be the very blueprint for GOD's transformation and
construction process in our own lives. If you have ever wondered... "Does GOD have a plan, Can
GOD use my mistakes, can GOD rebuild my destroyed life?" or you know someone wondering the same thing,
join us for an interesting perspective.

07.22.2007 - 08.26.2007 : The Way of Transformation
This 6-part series explores the radical transformations that occur in us
as we interact right with God. Beyond religion, an intimate relationship with God—framed
through a right understanding of who God is and what He’s about—will lead us to a new level
of relational experience with Him. Perfect to invite your unchurched friends to join, and
perfect for the long time believer to rediscover, this series will open you to some important
changes God wants to make in you!

why the miraculous power doesn't flow more through your own local church or even through Christianity as a whole
through North America? Find what may be missing in this message presented by Jon Norsworthy. |

06.10.2007 - 06.24.2007 : When Men See God
There are a handful of times when God met with men- men saw God face to face and without the veil of his invisibility. Those times were intense. They cost these men everything they had.
Do we really want to see God? Would we really like Him if we saw Him? Does our desire to know God stem from a deep seated longing to know Him, or does it come from what we want
God to be and do for us? Join us as we explore the stark reality of what it would really be like to meet God face to face.
