John 13:34-35: ...love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love
one another.
Our purpose is to demonstrate the love of Christ through acts of service. We will be focused on locally, domestically and internationally meeting the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of others while building
relational connections. Whether providing emergency response to a disaster, adopting the unfortunate in distant lands, visiting the elderly or simply serving a meal to those who are hungry, Servant's Heart
seeks to help those who need it most..

International Projects
Children's Hope Chest
Sponsor a Child - CrossCurrent has partnered with Children's Hope Chest and we are stepping up to sponsor every child in a special
needs orphanage in Kirov , Russia . This means a long-term focus and direct life change for the children. Your letters, photos, and prayers will begin
a relationship unlike any you've ever had. It costs $35.00 per month to sponsor a child and your donations will support programs that serve to rebuild
lives through Christian discipleship, tutoring, mentor-ship, and family. For more information, contact
Kim Clawson.
Russia Missions Trip - Support us as we travel to Kirov, Russia to visit the children at Arbazh orphanage in August 2008. We will use this time to host a 5-day
Christian camp, and spend lots of time interacting learning and loving on the amazing children and staff at this orphanage. For more information, contact
Kim Clawson.
Project Vox
CrossCurrent has partnered with
Vox United, a concerted effort among universities, local churches, humanitarian
organizations, and businesses to eliminate the spread of HIV/Aids. We build international bridges resulting in viable, holistic, self-sustainable
solutions in infected and underdeveloped communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Our dream is that the Global Church would become the primary voice speaking for Sub-Saharan Africa and into its future, and that those who are in
desparate need would find the representation they deserve.
Ways to get involved: Pray, donate financially, go on long or short term trips to communities in South Africa, be a Vox advocate in your local
community, internships, and partnerships.

Servants Heart.
South Africa Missions TripJoin us as we travel to Johannesburg, South Africa to serve the local population. This trip we will be focused on building relationships,
learning more about specific needs and supporting existing projects already underway (building houses, home care visits, working with orphans at the township schools.)
If you would like to go on this trip or support those going please contact
Danielle Sabus.
Domestic Projects
Project Seven (Iliff Pediatric Unit)
Are you willing to take on a child that you will commit to visiting once a month for one hour? That's just one hour out of your monthly allotment of 720.
Additionally, we ask that you visit the child on their birthday and at some point around the major holidays. The commitment is for one year. There are various
things you can do with them for that hour: read to them, hold or play with them, and take them for walks (if you're CPR certified).
If Project Seven is something you would like to join, the next step is to complete a volunteer application and attend an orientation meeting at the
facility. This special unit is for chronically ill children and has about 30 kids--7 of which currently have nobody (including family) to visit them.
