CrossCurrent loves artists! So much so that it is our desire to see every artist become all that God has intended for them to be. The Creative Arts Team at CrossCurrent is a place for artists to do just that…to use their gifts to honor God and serve the church, while building relationships and growing in their faith and their art. What Does the Creative Arts Team Do?
The Worship Arts Team is responsible for the development and implementation of the creative elements that are a part of the weekend Worship Service, from the Technical Direction, to Dance and Drama, Music and Media, and everything in between. We find creative ways to express the timeless truths of God’s Word that teach, touch and transform lives.

FEEDBACK! We want to know what you think of the weekend service! The goal of the Creative Team is to create a worship experience in which you encounter God through the creative arts, whether you are a seeker/skeptic or a long-time believer. We are constantly evaluating and learning from all that we do and now we have set up a format to receive feedback from you! Please email [email protected] with any feedback (both positive and negative) on your worship experience at CrossCurrent.

Sound System Volunteers Needed! - No Experience Necessary....we will train you! If you love technical arts, or have an interest in learning how to run a sound board or the video camera, we need you desperately. This is an area that really needs some people to step up and help out on Sunday mornings. We only have 3 people right now and really need help. Excellent training and apprenticeship with our existing technical team is provided. If you would like to explore the possibility, please contact the Technical Arts Director, Jim Schaad or 703.430.2131.

Small Groups! Check out the small group tables in the school foyer and talk to one of our small group leaders to find a group meeting in your area. There’s no better way to get connected, make friends, and build relationships. Check out the "What We Do" link.

Check out our full Children's Ministry service on Sunday morning! - If you have kids age 4 thru 5th grade, bring them to our Rising Current service during both service times on Sunday morning. Just follow the signs directing you to the school cafeteria. Your kids will love it.

Children's Ministry looking for creative people to volunteer occassionally - Our children's church needs people who are interested in helping with music, dance, drama, and powerpoint for children's church. This is not an "every Sunday" committment. Please email Shannon Havens for more information.

CrossCurrent's nursery program is called Generations- We provide childcare for infants through 3 year olds. Parents of young children are always welcome to hang out in the Generations room to help out, or to become familiar with our system and the safe and excellent level of care your baby will be receiving. We will also provide an area for diaper changing and nursing.

Are you interested in getting to know other people? There are numerous opportunities to volunteer and experience authentic fellowship with others.  We can always use your help in the childrens ministry, the set up tear down process and technical support.  If you are interested you can Kevin Hancock at [email protected].
